Who we are?

Missio Dei is a Greek word which means (Mission of God). Is an independent rural Para-church based ministry, It was started in 1999 with the aims of enabling youth especially those with no access to theological seminary and Rural Pastors to lead a better life in Christ and getting them ready to keep the church moving even in time to come. This is done by promoting Christian nurturing and encouraging the Teens to participate in church related activities so as to effect Christian discipline in the Christian community and reach out to the worldly community were the Gospel of Christ has not reached. Pastor MWESIGWA SAMUEL the founder of MDM is a graduant in BA in theology from East Africa Collage of Theology in Nairobi Kenya 2006. He has 12 years of Ministry Exprience in Evanglisim and Church Planting in Moslem Communities in Uganda, He as ministred and Trained Rular Pastor in KENYA, RWANDA, TANZANIA,DRC CONGO,and Ghana

Our goals and Activities

Activities

1. We hold Youth camps and conferences for building and encouraging them to live a good Christian life.

2. Evangelism - Hold open air crusades and school evangelization reaching the Moslem youth and the community for Christ.

3. Counseling - guiding and giving answers to puzzling questions from the Christian and non-Christian youth, praying with them. All this is done by sharing the word of God and some personal experiences in our Christian walk.

4. HIV/AIDS Education & Awareness - hold conferences, educative training and showing films to the Christian and non-Christian youth community about HIV/AIDS epidemic.

5. Adult Education Illiteracy Campaign - Enabling the youth and other Christian and non-Christian people who did not have a chance to go to schools, read and write for them the word of God.

6. Cooperate with other people or organizations local or foreign whose aims and objectives are similar to those of Teens of Christ Ministry.

7. Church planting and Discipleship in the Moslem community has been one of our major target since these people are desperate within them, we find it simple to tell them about the loving master.

8. We also target the pastors and believers children, it has been found out that 96% of these children cant recite at list 6 verses in the bible. So we want to help them develop a new mentality, about salvation not to base on there parents.

9. We have a helps ministry that provides disabled people with clothes, first aid medication, food and bibles.
