About the Ministry and Mission

Our Ministry:
Publishers & Company began in 2003, when the Lord impressed upon its founder the words from Psalm 68.11, "The Lord gave the word, great was the company of those who published it."

Since that time in September 2003, Publishers & Company has begun to network with churches in the city of Buffalo, and is giving its support to those churches through evangelistic endeavors. Whatever the evangelism need is, Publishers & Company exists to give the following supports to the local church:

a) supplying evangelists for revival services,

b) providing seminars on evangelism,

c) training individuals in soul-winning and

d) building a network of evangelism for the city of Buffalo and the outlying areas of western New York.

Our Mission:
The Mission of Publishers & Company is "to make disciples" by endeavoring...

...to win the lost,

...to train and ordain evangelists,

...to evangelistically support other ministries in the city of Buffalo and western New York that confess Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and

...to hold regular meetings of worship.

What We Believe

Our Beliefs:
A. God:
We believe in one God, Who is three Persons, namely the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. As God, the three Persons are co-eternal with all the same divine attributes, for they are of the same, one Divine substance.

B. The Son:
We believe the Son to be the Lord Jesus Christ, fully divine and fully human. He became flesh when He was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, was crucified, dead, and buried; on the third day He arose from the dead. This blood sacrifice and bodily resurrection was for the purpose of redeeming people from sin.

C.The Holy Spirit:
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who convicts, leads, and comforts. The Holy Spirit convicts people of sin and awakens them to their need for God's salvation. The Holy Spirit leads people to a knowledge of salvation and further growth in the Christian life. The Holy Spirit comforts as He bears witness with the believer's spirit that she/he is a child of God.

D.The Bible:
We believe the Bible to be the only authoritative, inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God, which contains all things necessary to salvation and the Christian life.

E. People's Sin:
We believe that all people are born with a sinful nature and are unable to keep God's holy law as set forth in the Bible. People are in further trouble in that they are unforgiven for their sin, until God grants their personal salvation.

F. People's Salvation:
We believe that salvation is granted to people by God's grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and in His atoning death, the shedding of His innocent blood, and the power of His true, and historical, resurrection.

G. Miracles Today:
We believe that God still does miracles today and that the greatest of miracles is salvation.

H. The Evangelist:
We believe and recognize that the ministry of the evangelist has validity as one of the leadership ministries of Ephesians 4.11,12. We further recognize the importance of accountability in leadership ministry, and as such the evangelists need a body of overseers to which they are accountable for the furtherance of their personal Christian life and public ministry. The evangelist leads people to a saving knowledge of Jesus through the proclamation of the Gospel. The evangelist also leads saved believers to become involved in the works of evangelism through teaching and apprenticeship.

I. The Church:
We believe in one holy, catholic (universal), and apostolic Church. This Church is comprised of all those who have been redeemed by God's grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

J. The Eternity of the Human Soul:
We believe in the eternity of the human soul after physical death. For the soul that has experienced God's grace through faith in Christ's salvation, there will be an eternity of joy, peace and perfection in Heaven with God. For the soul that has not experienced God's grace through faith in Christ's salvation, there will be an eternity of weeping and gnashing of teeth in Hell separated from God. The eternal state of the soul is determined by the individual's positive or negative response to the Gospel during his / her physical life here on earth. We further believe that this response is irreversible at the moment of his / her physical death.

K. The Second Coming of Jesus Christ:
We believe in the personal and imminent second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that He will come the second time just as He left the first time.

L. A New Heaven and a New Earth:
We believe that after Christ returns that there will be a new Heaven and a New Earth that God will establish.
