The Attic
The Attic was borne out of the desire to see the Youth in the town and later the greater community of Empangeni and Richards Bay on the North Coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
Whats it all about?
There is a very real need to meet the needs of the Youth, especially when the world is offering them plenty of temptations and the Attic has a coffee bar area, a pool room and a mini auditorium area for ministry and dancing/ live band appearances etc to show the Youth that being a Christian isn't a dull way of life but in fact even more challenging and exciting than what the world is offering. The Attic stands for "Attention towards Teens in Christ" and although not open to the public just yet, the venue is certainly taking shape and should be open in a month or so - March 2001 - depending on various basic needs being met.
