The woman at the well had a "colorful" past, and even though she was an outcast because of her past, Jesus waited at the well just for her. She was the first person to whom he revealed himself as the Messiah without parable. He told her all about herself and still offered her the gift of everlasting life. He used her to evangelize a whole town. John 4: 1-41
