Lighthouse missions is a developmental ministry of the Lighthouse Gospel church of Kenya. It is affiliated to Good samaritan ministries in the UK registration number 3466029. Founded by Rev. Nelson Oenga, this ministry has transformed itself from a personal gift of love and helps within a church set up, to a full developmental and relief organisation now working with many church organisations in Kenya and Tanzania in Africa. Lighthouse is involved with Vission Gospel ministry international (UK), and has helped plant a church in the city of Reading and now is developing all the church programes and outreaches. The central objective of Lighthouse missions is to win souls through developmental programmes which include outreaches in evangelism, social and human development. We fulfill this by reaching out in love to help those who are hurting and this is aimed at enlarging the size of the Kingdom of God, improve and enrich the lives of believers as we enjoy our journey to eternal life in Christ Jesus.
TO FULFIL THE COMANDMENT"AND THEY SHALL DECLARE MY GLORY AMONG THE NATIONS" (Isaiah 66:19). Lighthouse mission's purpose is to allow individuals and missions to specialise in their areas of calling and gifts while providing a common focus to the ministry efforts in reaching out to impact the world with the gospel. Our main aim is to provide national, and international opportunities for involving others in ministry, and to reach out in a practical way with compassion, love and in reverence to the poor, sick, elderly, disabled and Children. The ministry is also to build a family of friends, and also create an atmosphere where meaningful relationships are developed, between individuals, churches, ministries and organisations for the continued support and expansion of the mission and the work of God.
