First Baptist School desires to glorify God by providing a nuturing environment in which families can be strengthened and encouraged to live a biblically centered lifestyle.
First Baptist School At A Glance
First Baptist School is a ministry of the First Baptist Church, Brownsville, TX. The School ministers to families from a wide variety of churches throughout the Brownsville/Matamoros area. There are classes for children from 3 years of age through 8th grade. The students are exposed to a Bible-centered education that will prepare them spiritually as well as academically to be all the Lord wants them to be. FBS is accredited by the Association of Christian School International (ACSI) and is thereby an accredited school recognized by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). FBS students have access to a wide range of academic and sports activities in which to participate, such as basketball, volleyball, track, speech meets, spelling bees, science fairs, math olympics, art festivals, chess club, cub scouts, etc.
