The Eastern Brothers of Saint Francis is a congregation of Filipino Orthodox Clergy inspired by the spirit and poverty of Saint Francis of Assisi. Its Apostolic roots and religio-cultural tradition is the derive from the One, Holy, Catholic , and Apostolic Church of Antiquity through the lineages of 1. St. Thomas - Church of the East: Syro - Chaldean heritages. 2. St. Andrew - Greek - Russian, and American Orthodox Churches. 3. St. Peter - Roman Catholic Church, through the Patriachate of Brazil. At present, the congregation of the Eastern Brothers of Saint Francis is undertaking its missionary endeavors under the Auspices and Episcopal Protection of his Eminence Most Reverend Ronald D. Nowlan S.T.D., D.D. of the Christ's Apostolic Church of North America.

Objectives

1. We seek to poster the spirit of Ecumenism through inter -religio-denominational collaboration.

2. In view of arriving at a certain workable approaches, We seek to initiate formative studies geared towards unearthing the spirit of fellowship, fraternity and communion as experience by the early life of the Church.

3. We seek to provide a methodology for a open and ongoing critical, reflection - action process where filipinos can express freely and define their destiny through participation and decision - making process relative in the search for meaning and relevance of their faith - life experiences.
