Waiting for God
The Friends Upper Room is a community of Christians in Orange,Texas committed to contemplative prayer and offering the sacraments and teachings of Jesus Christ freely to all, especially to those who may feel marginalised or unwelcome in mainstream denominations. Our worship often features silent meditation and prayer, or "waiting on God," in the manner of Friends. We meet in the sanctuary of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1401 W. Park Ave., in Orange, Texas. You are most welcome to join us! Phone (409) 883-2969 for directions. Meeting time is every Friday night at 7pm.
