Education: Studies at the British Institute School of Madrid, "Lower Certificate in English" from Cambridge University and several diplomas in English language.

Park School in Sommerset, England "Proficiency in English" and two GCEs in "English Language" and "Spanish" as well as studies in French language.

Royal Academy of Music of Madrid, 6 years of piano, 1 of voice, harmony, history of music and other related subjects.

Licee Francais two years.

Arab House & Islamic Institute one year. Studied German for a time and have a fair knowledge of Italian.

Work experience: Free lance translator, interpreter, editing, proof reading, dubbing, transcribing and translating in conferences from English into Spanish and vice versa and from French and Italian into English and Spanish, secretarial work, writing of articles and 1 book published, 3 not yet published (2 in English and 1 in Spanish). Simultaneous and consecutive translating in different situations.

British & Foreign Bible Society of Madrid as management bilingual secretary and translator.

Campus Crusade for Christ International translating all their materials into Spanish, such as books, articles, pamphlets and doing simultaneous translating in conferences in Austria, France and Spain.

Word Processing: WP Works, Windows3.11, Microsoft Word 6.0, fax, composer, fax-modem, e-mail and Internet. Use Netscape Navigator Gold 3.0 to receive and send translations.

American Air Force Base in Torrejón, Madrid working as bilingual secretary in the education building.

Spanish House, TSELF, Editorial Betania and Horeb Christian School translating books, articles and documents from English and French into Spanish, as well as editing and proof reading.

Hialeah Police Department: translating and transcribing cases from Spanish into English for the district court judges (worked under Capt. Eddy Bradham).

Translated 85 books as free lance. Publishers include: Logoi, Vida, Editorial Caribe (presently absorbed by Thomas Nelson Publishers, ref. Mr. Juan Rojas), Spanish House and Editorial Betania (now in another State) of Miami, Florida; The Baptist Publishing House of El Paso, Texas; Publications International of Kansas City, Missouri; Kregel Publications of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Focus on the Family, Colorado Springs, Colorado; Libreria Evangelica, Barcelona; Clie, Tarrasa; TEMA, The Netherlands as well as several Evangelical publishers in Great Britain and a long document for the EEC, as well as articles for the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem.

Dubbing and translating movies for a Christian TV channel in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Estudios Exa and Estudios Abaira of Madrid.

Translating articles for several Madrid newspapers, such as El País and ABC and for magazines, such as Muy Interesante and Mía. Over 120 articles (zoology, Bricolage, Medicine, psychiatry and psychology, ethnology, theatre, literature, history, geography, geology, music, politics and so forth for an encyclopedia published by Editorial Rialp of Madrid and a long article for International Publishing of Florida and magazines about Israel. .

Joint venture between Bell Atlantic International of Arlington, Virginia and Telefónica de España as management bilingual secretary, working for the American Director of the Project, Mr. Kenneth E. Clark, now back in the States, and translating technical materials from English into Spanish and Spanish into English.

I have given conversational English classes to the Principal of a school in Madrid and worked in some schools in the USA.

Personal views:I have a special ability to follow up and investigate untiringly any project in which I am interested and have a very high level of concentration, whilst fully aware of what goes on around me. My main interest in translation has to do with Israel and Messianic books, articles and other.

Hobbies: Music (classic, Israeli, country, negro spirituals, Irish, reading, writing, travelling and meeting people from all countries, cultures and races.
