Who We Are</h3>
St. Bede's is a traditional Anglican (English) Church with our roots in the ancient Church of England.<BR><BR> <BR><BR>Our worship is according to the 1928 Book of Common Prayer.<BR><BR>
We are the church of Richard Hooker, John Donne, Lancelot Andrewes, George Herbert, Nicholas Ferrar, C.S. Lewis, and T.S. Eliot, among others.<BR><BR>
We gave to the Christian world the Authorized (King James) Version of the Bible, which is still the "authorized version" for our services.<BR><BR>
If you are looking for a church which believes and operates on the absolute doctrinal and moral authority of Holy Scripture as interpreted by the consensus of the Primitive Church, whose doctrinal and liturgical life reflects the practice of the ages rather than the spirit of the age, St. Bede's is for you. Where We Are</h3>
Take Exit 27 off I-459 and travel southeast about 1-1/2 miles on Grants Mill Road, just past the Cahaba River bridge. <BR><BR>Our driveway is on your right opposite the church sign.
