Church Purpose

Our church purpose is based on Jesus' command as seen in Matthew 28: 19,20 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you: and Lo I will be with you always even to the end of the age." New Vision Community Church impacts its community by winning the lost to Christ, training them how to follow Christ in their daily lives through the empowering of the Holy Spirit, and sending them out to do His work through the ministry of the church, missions, and supporting other evangelistic efforts.

How to Have a personal relationship with Christ

I. Know Jesus loves you.
John 3:16" For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten som that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life."
II.Know Jesus wants your life to have meaning: John 10:10 "...I come that you might have life and have life more abundantly."
III. Know Sin (Rebellion againt God's law) seperates us from God and keeps us from living forever with God in heaven and condems us to eternal seperation (hell) from God. Romans 3:23: "For all have sinned and fallen Short of the Glory of God." Romans 6:23: "For the wages of sin is death (etenal seperation from God-hell), but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
IV. Only by recieving Jesus in our hearts to be our Lord and Savior can we truly be saved. This is done by Confessing our sins to God and asking him for forgiveness with sincerity and not wanting to go back to living by doing wrong in our lives. Then we ask Christ to come into our heart (he sends his Holy Spirit to live in our souls). John 1:12: "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believed in his name." Romans 10:9: "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised you from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 8:15,16: "For you did not recieve a Spirit of bondage again to fear, but you recieved the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry Abba, Father. The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God."
Suggested Prayer: Lord Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead so that I might live forever. Please forgive me of my sins and come into my heart to be my Lord and Savior.
