What is The Anglican Catholic Church

The Anglican Catholic Church(Original Province) is part of the One,Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.
The Church has an international presence around the world. The Anglican Catholic Church was consolidated in 1978 by a large group of Anglicans who were concerned by the liberal changes which they saw occurring in member churches of the Anglican Communion.
The Anglican Catholic Church derives its valid Apostloic succession from bishops of the Anglican Communion.
We are not Church of England because we do not agree with many things that Church says or does today, nor do we seek to reproduce it.
The Anglican Catholic Church believes that same faith as the once united Roman and Orthodox Churches did in the past.
" We have no doctrine of our own. We only possess the Catholic doctrine of the Catholic Church enshrined in the Catholic Creeds, and these creeds we hold without addition or diminution. We Stand firm on that rock " - Archbishop Fisher.
The Creeds are statements of faith that are said by the faithful. Originally these were taught, in secret, to those who were seeking to know Jesus Christ. Now, the open proclamation of these creeds is a definite and direct statement of belief.
THE APOSTLES' CREED:
I BELIEVE IN GOD the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth: and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary: suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried: He descended into hell; The third day he rose again from the dead:He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of the God the Father Almighty: from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Holy Catholic Church; the Communion of Saints: the forgiveness of sins: the resurrection of the body: and the life everlasting. Amen.
THE NICENE CREED:
I BELIEVE IN ONE GOD the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And of all things visible and invisible: And in One Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God; Begotten of his Father before all worlds, God of God, Light of Light, Very God of Very God, Begotten not made; Being of one substance with the Father; By whom all things were made: Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven, And was incarnate by the Holy Ghost of the Virgin Mary, And was made man: And was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried: And the third day he rose again according to the Scriptures: And ascended into heaven, And sitteth on the right hand of the Father: And he shall come again with glory, to judge both the quick and the dead; Whose kingdom shall have no end. And I believe in the Holy Ghost, The Lord and Giver of Life, Who proceedeth from the Father and the Son; Who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; Who spake by the prophets: And I believe One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church: I acknowledge one Baptism for the remission of sins: And I look for the Resurrection of the dead: And the Life of the world to come. Amen.
How Do We Worship ? The Anglican Catholic Church has restored the ancient western Gregorian Liturgy as it is expressed in the Anglican Missal , which contains variations introduced from the Book of Common Prayer. We also make use of the traditional externals of Catholic worship such as vestments, incense, statues and candles.
The Anglican Catholic Church (Original Province) has a validly ordained, exclusively male, ministry of bishops, priests and deacons

St Alban the Martyr.

The Mission of St Alban the Martyr is within the Anglo Catholic ( or " High Church" ) tradition. At St Alban we celebrate the services and sacraments of the church using the traditional rites and externals of Catholic worship.
The rites that we use are from the English/Anglican Missals and the Book of Common Prayer.
In addition to our regular services (as listed above), our weekly Bible study and monthly prayer group, we also organise monthly outings, coffee mornings and other social activities, you would be welcome at any or all of these events.
