New life in Portlaoise !</h3>
Portlaoise is a county town of around 16,000 people in the midlands region of the Irish Republic. The evangelical Church has had virtually no impact on this area up until very recent times. The meetings run in Portlaoise are currently organised by Tim Clark a Pentecostal minister from Leicestershire in England. Our aim is to stay clear of the "religious divide" that has so troubled Ireland, and not to be seen as either Protestant or Catholic. Rather we desire to minister the power of the gospel of Jesus and see lives changed for God.
Portlaoise is an area with many problems and only a small Christian witness, but already we see God doing great things in this town.
Please feel free to get in touch both from Ireland and from overseas, it would be great to hear from you. This ministry is affiliated to Church of God , Cleveland Tennessee in the U.S, and we would particularly welcome contact with our C.O.G family who are interested in finding out more about our work in Ireland.
