The first General Conference was held December 15, 1870, in Jackson, Tennessee. Our first Bishop Elias Cottrell, was the first of five Bishops that served in the following century. <P> The church had its beginning when a group of outstanding men saw a need for a place to worship. According to the records and deed, Mrs. Mary Ann McDougal gave a parcel of land on which the church was built. Graham Chapel today stands as a beacon of light throughout Savannah, TN. We have made a continuous stride to enhance what our forefathers had begun. <P> To God Be The Glory For The Things God Has Done. <br><br><hr><h3> EXPERIENCING GOD</h3> "O, God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
