Bible Studies

Two Small Groups are also held Sunday evenings. One meets weekly in the home of Tom Sparks Sr. (321 6th St. NW in West Fargo, phone 282-2034). The other meets in the home of Rich and Carmen Lodewyk (4802 16th Av. SW in Fargo, phone 277-8643).

Many people are also involved in neighborhood Bible studies. Others are involved in Bible Study Fellowship, an interdenominational Bible Study which has evening Men's and Women's Groups on Monday and a morning Women's Group on Wednesday. This study covers the Acts of the Apostles this year. Contact Craig Rottman (home 235-7284, work 231-7045) for times and locations.

Our Beliefs

The Bible is the Word of God. God exists in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus, being the Son of God, offers to all a personal relationship to Him, eternal life, and forgiveness of sins, which saves us from eternal punishment. All who believe in Christ are one, and God touches lives through His people.

Our Purpose

We desire to glorify God by reaching and leading people to become devoted followers of Jesus Christ who in turn reach out to others. This will be done through worship, support, fellowship and discipleship, and witness.
Red River Church will seek to: Celebrate life in Christ together (worship)
Care for one another in Christ's love (support)
Cultivate personal growth in Christ (fellowship and discipleship)
Communicate Christ's love in our area of influence (witness)

Our Mission

We desire to develop as an authentic biblical community of growing believers who are reaching out to the believer and unbeliever, that all may
                  KNOW Jesus Christ,
                                    GROW in Him,
                                                      SHARE the good news, and
                                                                        SUPPORT one another in love.

Our Vision

We desire to make Red River Chruch an open, accepting community which shares Christ's unconditional love, equips believers to share their faith and minister to believers and unbelievers.

Our Target

SEEKERS
People who are not attending a church but through the work of the Holy Spirit are open to knowing more about Jesus Christ. These include the formerly churched and unchurched.
NEW RESIDENTS
People in transition without a church home. These include the churched and the unchurched.
TEAMSTERS
People that are growing disciples of Christ who want to be a part of a ministry team and serve others. These include all believers who desire to serve in various capacities in church activities. Generally these are believers that provide support and leadership.
RECOVERERS
People, both believers and unbelievers, that need a haven for emotional, physical, and spiritual recovery and healing.
