New Ministry is named........"The Hand of Mercy"
Many people in our "church family have had strong feelings about the hungry in our area..........and a soup kitchen was born. This lead us to start a Lunch Program for the needy in and around the community. The chairperson for this ministry is Artha Headley, a woman who loves the Lord and her brothers and sisters! Artha felt it was an appropriate name (The Hand of Mercy) for the ministry considering we are extending a hand to those that truly need mercy. Praise the Lord that He continues to supply us with enough food to feed the many hungry that have come to us. Not only do we feed them food for the body but the spirit as well. What a wonderful opportunity He has provided! We would encourage others to follow our lead if the Lord lays it on your hearts to do so. We serve an awesome God!
"Rock Solid" Young Adult Ministry
The young adults in our fellowship love the Lord and want others to know what He has for them.............. In todays world, where so many are lost, it is comforting to know that we have young adults with a purpose. A purpose that they want and need to share with others. Those that love the Lord and those who don't know him yet! This ministry is for ages 18 through 25, men and women. They meet at 7:30pm each Thursday. Glory!
