Principles of the Church
Our Aim
To exalt Christ above party, and His word above all human creeds. To build a church of Christ without denominational name, creed, or other barrier to Chrisitain unity, whose terms of fellowship shall be as broad as the conditions of salvation and identical with them. To work with all other Christian workers, as far as we can, in extending Christ's reign among men, while seeking to promote the unity for which our Savior prayed.
Our Book of Discipline
"All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for reaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Tim. 3:16, 17 NIV)
Our Name
"The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch." (Acts 11:26b NIV)
Our Worship
"The devoted themselves tot the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." (Acts 2:42 NIV)
Our Prayer
"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me." (John 17:20, 21 NIV)
