All visitors of goodwill welcome for friendly conversation about spirituality, contemplation, prayer, peaceful/silent atmosphere.... OUR MEMBERSHIP: We have priests, monks, domestic monastics,hermits, oblates, associates, aspirants, seekers and laity associated with us. LOCATIONS: We are in a number of different countries (eg. US, Spain, France, Mexico, Sweden, South Africa, etc); this is the international,administrative and one of our residential centres. Visit our list (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/monasterion)of about 470 members, members from all major denominations, bishops, priests, religious, oblates, tertiaries, committed laity - for monastic subjects, spirituality, prayer, monastic news, and much else... Languages: English, Nederlands, Deutsch, Afrikaans, Francais, Espanol, Portuguese, Italiano
WORSHIP: Liturgies, Rites, Divine Offices
Our members from different denominations celebrate different rites and liturgies. from their own denominations.
We pray the Divine Offices, Opus Dei, and celebrate the Liturgies, Mass or Eucharist.
We also have silent worship and meditation.
We offer spiritual direction (in person or by mail, and some of us are members of Spiritual Directors International).
