Secondary School, Blyth, Northumberland to July 1959. <BR> Part-time Student: Northumberland Technical College, Ashington to May 1962.<BR> Clerk Accountant in the RAF,1962-1969.<BR> Counter Cashier for Barclays Bank, 1969-1970.<BR><BR> Student at the College of the Venerable Bede, Durham, 1970-1972.<BR> Student at Northern Counties College in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, (now re-designated the University of Northumbria) 1972-1974.<BR><BR> Graduated Bachelor of Education (with Honours 2:2) June 1974.<BR><BR> Qualified secondary school teacher of History and Religious and Moral Education. <BR><BR> Assistant Teacher at Linskill High School in North Shields: August 1974 to July 1976.<BR> Head of Religious Education at Linskill High School: August 1976 to December 1978.<BR><BR> Principal Teacher of Religious Education at Broxburn Academy, West Lothian: January 1979 to July 1986.<BR><BR>Graduated Master of Education from Edinburgh University: October 1982. <BR><BR>Principal Teacher of Religious and Moral Education and Philosophy at Marr College, Troon, South Ayrshire: August 1986 to taking early retirement, January 2007.<BR><BR> Graduated Doctor of Philosophy in Theology (Dogmatics) from Pochesftroom Christian University, South Africa, in November 1999. <BR><BR>Ordained 30 September 2001 by three bishops of a 'Continuing Anglican Church' at Pinmore Chapel, South Ayrshire.<BR><BR>Formally incardinated into the Association of Independent Evangelical Lutheran 'ministerium' by Presiding Bishop Pedro Bravo-Guzman in Astoria, Queens, New York, USA on Easter Sunday 2004. <BR><BR> Called to be Pastor of St Columba Lutheran Church, East Kilbride, in August 2005, <BR>subject to being Incardinated into the Lutheran Church 'ministerium' on successful completion of a 3-year course (begun by Distance Learning in 2004). <BR><BR>Full-time student at Westfield House Lutheran Seminary, Cambridge from January to June 2007.<BR><BR>Awarded the Diploma in Theology (in Lutheran history, theology and practice and Pastoral training), <BR>from the Evangelical Lutheran Church of England's House of Theological Studies, Westfield House, Cambridge in July 2007.<BR><BR> Formally incardinated and inducted to Pastorate during the closing stages of the annual national ELCE Synod on 13th October 2007. <br><br><hr><h3> Pastor David's Christian service and ministry</h3> Raised as a Roman Catholic and attended R.C. schools and regular communicant member of R.C.
