Pastor's History</h3>
Pastor Raymond Hunter was born in Natchez Miss. on September 21, 1955 to Deacon Newal and Mother Dorothy Hunter. He is the second son of seven children, wich consist of one sister and five brothers. Elder Hunter was baptized at the age of fourteen, at Second Mount Everest Baptist Church(Up Town New Orleans). Pastor Hunter was educated in the Orleans Parish school system. He furthered his studies at Delgado Community College. He earned his diploma in drafting from Intercostal Training School. Pastor Hunter also studied at Union Baptist Theological Seminary. In 1978 he married Naomi Williams and they were blessed by God with five sons. In 1984 Pastor Hunter was compelled by the Holy Spirit to strive for higher hights in God. He submitted to the leadership of Pastor Andrew Williams Jr. of Holy Trinity C.O.G.I.C., where he was baptized in the Holy Ghost. In 1989 he was call to the ministry and in 1995 he was ordained an Elder.

Church History</h3>
Eagle's Wings Ministries C.O.G.I.C. started in Pastor Hunter's home with a bible study. It consisted of his wife Naomi, his five sons, his brother Avery, and his wife Darnell and their two daughters. As it progressed, others began attending. It crossed denominational and racial lines. Many were saved, healed,and delivered; shackles were broken and many were liberated by the word of God. The name Eagle's Wings was given to Pastor Hunter as the people were being liberated by the word through the Spirit(Is. 40:31). Through this observation of God delivering his people, the church's motto was pinned, "We're Soaring In The Word Through The Spirit".> Easter Sunday 1998, Eagle's Wings officially became recognized as a church. The hand of God is moving mightily among his people, and God is adding souls by leaps and bounds. We're expecting the power of God to continue to bless, heal, deliver, and liberate, as we stand poised for the former latter rain and the return of The Lord Jesus Christ. <br><br><hr><center><br>
