STATEMENT OF FAITH 1. We believe in one God Creator of all things, manifested in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.(Deut.6:4, Isa. 34: 10-11, Matt. 28:19, Mark 12:29, Luke 3:22, Phil 2:5-6) 2. We believe the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, crucified, died, was buried, resurrected, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true man. (Isa. 7:14, Matt 1:23, Luke 1:31&35, Acts 1:10, Rom. 8:34) 3. We believe the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, which is the mind of Christ and the only infallible rule of faith and conduct. (2 Tim. 3:15-16, 1 Thess. 2:13, 2 Peter 1:21) 4. We believe in the resurrection of the dead of both the saved and the lost, the eternal happiness of the saved and the eternal punishment of the lost. (Matt. 24:31-46, Acts 24:15, Rev. 22:11) 5. We believe in personal salvation, the cleansing of sin through repentance and faith of believers through the precious shed blood of Jesus Christ. (Rom. 3:25, Rom. 10:13-15, Eph. 1:7, 1 Peter 1:18-19, 1 John 1:7, 1 John 5:10, Rev 1:5, Rev 5:9) 6. We believe in sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit, and we believe in personal holiness, purity of heart and life. (1 Thess. 5:23, 1 Cor 1:30, 1 Peter 1:15-16, Phil. 2:12-13, 1 Thess. 4:3, Rom. 8:5, Heb 12:14) 7. We believe in divine healing, through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ and laying on of hands by the redemptive work of Christ on the cross. (Isa. 53:4-5, Matt. 8:16-17, Mark 16:18, James 5:13-15, 1 Peter 2:24) 8. We believe in the New Birth. Man's first step toward salvation is godly sorrow that works by repentance. The New Birth is necessary to all men, and when experienced, produces eternal life. (2 Cor. 7:10, John 3:3-5, 1 John 5:12) 9. We believe in water baptism. Baptism in water is by immersion, is a direct commandment of our Lord, and is for believers only. The ordinance represents a Christian's identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. (Matt. 28:19, Rom. 6:4, Col. 2:12, Acts 8:36-39). 10. We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as distinct from the new birth, in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance, in the gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the fruit of the spirit. We believe that all of these are available to believers. (Joel 2:28, Matt. 3:11, John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:1-4, Acts 2:38-39, Acts 10:44-46, Acts 15:8-9, Acts 19:1-7;) 11. We believe in the Christian's blessed hope - the soon coming, personal return to power and glory of the Lord Jesus Christ the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. (1 Thess. 4:14-18, Acts 1:11, Acts 24:15, Luke 14:14, Rev. 19:7-9) 12. We believe in the Five-fold Ministry which prepares believing Christians for ministry work so that the body of Christ can be edified and they will also bring the lost to the victory of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-16) 13. We believe in evangelism and missionary work in accordance with the Great Commission, through the authority in heaven and on earth, of Jesus Christ who's Spirit lives in us. (Matthew 28:18-20).
