WHY COMMUNITY?
Because everyone is welcome, regardless of race, creed or denomina-
tional affiliaation! We are a "Sinner Friendly Church", and believe
that Jesus died for all people, not some. We believe that Jesus is
the Son of the Living God, and that salvation is possible because He
died for our sins. (Romans 5:8) We believe the Bible to be the in-
spired Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16) We believe tht there is one God
eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We
believe in the diety of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in
His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death
through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrrection, in His ascension
to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power
and glory. We believe that, for the salvation of lost and sinful man,
regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. We believe
in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the
Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We believe in the
resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto
the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection
of damnation. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our
Lord Jesus Christ. That salvation and eternal life is a gift of God
and is through and by His Grace alone. (Ephesians 2:8-9) We accept
the "Apostles Creed" as part of the doctrine of our church as well as
the "Nicene Creed".
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
We love people for who they are, not for what we think they ought to
become.
