Finley Temple is a progressive Church that is on the move for God with the motto "A Good Church becoming better by the power of the Holy Ghost". Our Mission Statement is " The Mission of the Finley Temple Church is to be a place of Worship, where Men,Women and Children may come and perfect, mature and nurture in the callings and gifts that God has given each of them." We are endeavouring to be about our Father's business. We have added a Praise and Worship Team to help lead us into the presence of the LORD during our time of Worship. This has been a welcome infusion during the Sunday Morning Worship Services. We also have Intercessory Prayer daily, where the saints pause whereever they are at 9:30 a.m. and the LORD has being doing some marvelous moving for the Saints who have dedicated themselves to this labour of love and sacrifice. Our church has been tremendously and spiritually blessed as a result and our services have taken on a whole new direction and atmosphere. Our young ladies have reacivated the Praise Dance Team and have ministered during several services and the Lord has used them in a special way. They have included the youth to form a combined group ministry and are performing every Fourth Sunday during the Worship Service. We are praying that the Lord will continue to bless these young people in their service to the Lord. We participated in the Annual Walk for Life and the Annual Twenty Mile Bikathon sponsored by the State Youth Department. Though we are not large numerically, we are using what we have to make a difference in the community in which we we live, to give hope and let our lights shine, that men and women will see Jesus and be set free and saved. The Lord has birthed another area of our ministries to be called Chosen Royal Women Ministry(CRWM)under the direction of our Pastor's Wife, Asp Missy Daisy McAllister that will deal with the various issues in the lives of Women as they strive to mature and operate in their various callings and gifts of the Holy Ghost. Another goal to minister to the hurtings and sufferings that women are experiencing and point them to Jesus who is the Balm in Gilead. The YWCC will host a Retreat in August. The Men's Fellowship will be observing our annual Men's Fellowship Breakfast on the third saturday in January with a goal to have one hundred men in attendance. We also reorganized and added auxillaries and committees to help carry out the ministry and vision of our Pastor for the Church. Pray for us that we help carry out the Vision that the Lord has given our Pastor and continue to say "Yes Lord" to His will, His Way and His Word.
