Our Parish
Our parish seeks "to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to our Community."
Although we are nominally Anglican-Presbyterian we welcome all Christians to join us in worship as part of the family of God. There are four centres in the parish: Motu, Matawai, Te Karaka and Ormond, each seeking to reach out with the love and care of Jesus to its own community.
Parish Life
There are small groups in each centre for encouragement, support, prayer, teaching, worship and fellowship. Everyone is encouraged to be part of such a group. Groups meet as follows: MONDAY Matawai Women's Support Group (phone 862-4560) Matawai Women's Study Group (phone 862-8598) Ormond Home Group (phone 862-5832) WEDNESDAY Ormond Home Group - 9 a.m. (Phone 862-5778) THURSDAY Te Karaka Women's Group - 9.45 a.m. (Phone 862 - 3712)
We regularly offer "Alpha" as a way that people might explore the claims of the Christian faith. For further information please contact one of the above parishoners.
