The life of a Solitary of St. Francis is this: to observe the Holy Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ by living in obedience, without property, in celibate chastity, and in solitude.

Prayer for the needs of the Church and the world in the silence and solitude of the hermitage, coupled with active service to the poor.
