We subscribe to the basic tenets of mainstream Christianity, and we practice our faith as a way of life, in the model of Pentecostal-Holiness. However, we are ecumenical in our fundamental approach to human relations, and our theology is sufficiently broad so that we do freely embrace all people as equal and common Children of God, and as our Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Jesus. In our polity, we are associated with the Church Of God In Christ, International, which is headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee.</I> <BR><BR>. <I>Our doors are open to you always. You are welcome to visit with us, to share in fellowship with us, and to be part of us. The fact that I can sit right here in my office, type thse simple words on a little machine called a computer, and these simple words reach thousands -- maybe millions -- of souls, is powerful! This is all because Jesus went to the Father. What a tremendous opportunity we have today to make a Christian impression and a Gospel impact on the world far and near! The geographical and media limitations of the Gospel in Jesus's day are, essentially, removed in these modern times because of the Ministerial Empowerment that we enjoy these days through the medium of the Electronic Breath of God. He is still speaking to the hearts, minds, souls, and conditions of people everyhere! And that it an exciting thought! What is even more exciting is the fact that we have been blest with the access to this awesome previlege of sharing the words, thoughts, and impressions of God with people all over the world. Our pulpits have been dramatically expanded and extended. Our ministries have been remodeled in ways that testify to the faithfulness of God to extend Himself into the technical capabilities of willing workers. The Officers and members of our congregation will be in special Services of Annual Appreciation for their Pastor Dr. Daniel Holmes. Two services will be held over two consecutive Sunadays. The first day is Sunday afternoon, March 10, 2002, at 3:30 pm; the second day is the following Sunday, March 17, 2002, at 3:30 pm. <BR><BR>. 2. The Israelite District will meet here in a special Evening Service to welcome its newest congregation into the District. The services will be held on March 24, 2002, at 7:00 PM. Our new congregation is the Greater Holiness Church of Los Angeles, Califonia. The pastor is the Elder Milton Joyner. This event will be at our church here in Monrovia, 617 E.
