The Mission Of Hadassah

The Hadassah Conference is designed specifically to minister to Pastor's Wives. The Mission of the Hadassah Conference is: To provide support for Pastors Wives through prayer; To provide respite from clergy wife responsibilities; To provide opportunities for fellowship, networking and mentoring; To offer training for the Pastors Wife role. Like the Biblical Hadassah (Esther), many Pastors Wives find themselves in a time-consuming, life altering position they neither sought or desired. This annual Conference is planned and designed to relieve some potential conflict and to give Pastor's Wives the nurturing, encouragement, edification and relaxation they deserve. This year the conference will be held Friday October 13 and Saturday October 14, 2006 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel & Conference Center in Valley Forge, PA. The non-refundable registration fee is just $75.00. The Conference speaker is Stephanie Wolfe, a pw, noted author of numerous resources for women, Bible studies, and training tools. Hadassah Conference Administrator



Donna J. Parker, is the Administrator for the Hadassah Conference. Donna has been a clergy wife for over thirty years. She has served the church with her husband Bishop Larry Parker in various capacities. Her burden for clergy families and passion for Pastor's Wives in particular inspired her to orchestrate the Hadassah Conference as well as conduct research on the effect of the pastorate ministry on clergy wives. An anointed speaker in her own right, she is also a clinical social worker and has completed requirements for the doctorate degree in education. The Parkers are the parents of three children.
