We have audio capture and digitization equipment at Net Ministries to help you move any audio material to the Internet for use in your Web Pages. Audio may include speech and/or music. Audio is one of the new emerging and exciting technologies available through Internet today. Using the TRUESPEECH audio products, you can place audio messages on your pages such as daily inspirations, weekly sermons, choir selections, and other materials for the Internet community to receive. Net Ministries can provide your church, charity, or ministry, LIST SERVER capabilities for a reasonable shared cost expenditure. A LIST SERVER is a list of Email addresses that comprise a group of individuals desiring to share messages typically about a specific subject. Persons may join, leave, post messages, obtain lists of members, digests of recent messages, and other information from the LIST SERVER. Messages sent to the list are broadcast to all the members of the list. A list may be public (anyone can join the list), or private (the list is restricted as to who may join). One or more list administrators may be designated to administer the list, or Net Ministries can administer the list for you. The list may be administered remotely via Email messages. Additional services such as activity reports, custom administration and other file download support can be provided for small additional charges.
A discussion conference provides any number of people the ability to participate in a shared discussion or conference. A conference typically is started to discuss some general topic about which a group of people are interested. Within that topic, there are then multiple conversations or threads regarding specific areas within that topic. One user types in their thoughts. Another user reponds, and then another. Anyone may join the discussion later and easily catchup since all messages are stored in a format that is easy to review. Conferences may be limited to members only or left open for public participation. Discussion conferences have the benefit of allowing participation regardless of timezone or location, and provide a permanent database of information. Anyone may participate if they have Web access - an Email account is not required. Examples of conferences includes students taking the same course, a set of persons interested in a specific Christian writer, and or method of sharing prayer concerns within a community.
Net Ministries supports serving, digitizing, and designing multimedia presentations with Microsoft NetShow. NetShow supports audio, video clips (with or without audio), slides (with or without audio), all of which can be combined with syncronized display or your http pages.
