                      Pictorial Section;

  Summary;It happened one day when we visited a widow who lost her husband at the  violence, after the burial of her husband she decided to remain in the village at the homestead of her parents in-law at Awasi Village; where her newly constructed small thatched house was made on the burial day for her and her children. However it was fast warning out as a result of hurriedly constructed and could not hold when it was heavily raining .Whenever it rains, all the house beddings plus items were soaked with water and they ever sit down till morning to wait for sunrise to heat their small worn out mattress and torn blankets, clothes and school uniform of her four children. Everything was heartbreaking and pathetic that needed compassionate intervention for she was not employed nor doing any business and had to lean on cheap labor that were so scarce in the area.
At the time of visitation, my wife wept and get moved by the situation that needed immediate intervention, we remembered our background on how both of us where raised as total Orphans with a lot of rejection and neglected with nobody to given us care. We where subjected to sexual abuse, malnourished, hard labor, begging and sometimes walking half necked on the streets. The spirit of the Lord compelled us to put our resources together even though we had small money with other well- wishers to construct for her a house of semi- permanent of 20 iron sheets unit to reduce their suffering which cost us kshs 84,700 only.($ 847)
Impact ;
Little did we know that this small action would move many friends to our idea by doing research to all poverty stricken families who were living in the same situation in the community. Our Survey shows that most affected families were poor families, widows, widower’s, HIV/AIDS affected homes, unskilled and drop out young mothers, single mothers, Orphans and Senior citizen lead home.
-Seven pillars Program;
-The project has   seven pillars of fighting poverty; 1)- Construction of  Vulnerable families shelter programs 2)- Skills and work-tools empowerment program, 3)- Business empowerment program, 4)- Education to Less fortunate children Program, 5)- HIV/AIDS affected families support program ,6)- Marginalized groups support program  and ,7)- Youth Resource centre program.
