Victory in Christ International Ministries

HISTORY

Victory in Christ Church and International Ministries was founded by Michael and Adelle McKinney in 1974.  Through this ministry many souls were won to the Lord beginning in Southern California to their international ministries.  They hosted the Victory in Christ Radio Ministry from around 1975-1978.  

. As a young man newly ordained, Kathryn Kuhlman called him out of the audience of pastors at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and prophesied over him.

Years later, Dr. Morris Cerullo, World Evangelism prayed that Michael would receive the double anointing power of the Holy Spirit. Since that time, Mike and Adelle have travelled the nations of the world conducting mass evangelistic crusades in the third world. As a result of their ministry another young man was raised up in the nation of the Philippines, Bro. Eddie Villaneuva and today, the Church's Almanac states that the Jesus is Lord Church is the sixth largest in the world.

At home in Covina, in 1996,  Dr. McKinney has recently established THE PASTORS NETWORK a fellowship for pastors of smaller and growing churches. This fellowship met monthly at the Clifton's Cafeteria in West Covina, CA. until the restaurant closed.  Valley International Christian Seminary was founded in 1997.  

In 1999, the Victory in Christ Church and Ministries was concluded and the World for Jesus International Christian Center and Ministries officially became the official home church and Ministry.  World for Jesus was the evangelistic church planting ministry of Victory in Christ Church hosting world conferences in Hawaii and Temple City.
