Ssamba Foundation is a community based rural development organization founded in 2006 in Mukono District of Uganda by Hon. Isaac Ssamba.
Ssamba Foundation designs and conducts programs which contribute to the welfare and social productivity of disadvantaged individuals and communities with an emphasis on children and youth.
Ssamba Foundation recruits volunteers for locally-run community, conservation, teaching, health care, building and sports projects around Uganda. Volunteers are an integral part of everything that happens at our organization in Mukono, Uganda.
Depending on the season, we always have a list of much needed services which can be provided by volunteers within our projects around Uganda.
Our Volunteer Program is an immersion program customized for individual travelers, students, professionals, families, groups, or anyone with the desire to serve in rural villages in Uganda.
Ssamba Foundation provides international volunteers with meaningful affordable placements in Uganda. Our programs include 1 week to 24 weeks placements all year round. We offer one of the most affordable program options and placements in orphanage, healthcare, HIV/AIDS, teaching English, women empowerment, construction and community development.
