Evan B Farrior Ministries, Inc is a non-denomonational faith and interfaith outreach ministry based in Jersey City, New Jersey was established in 1995. The founder and COE, Overseer Evan B Farrior hails from the traditional Methodist and Pentecostal background. Overseer Farrior embarked upon career in special education after graduating from Jersey City State College (now known as New Jersey City University). For thirty years, he was a role model, counselor, teacher and mentor touching the minds, hearts and lives of many students and parents in Jersey City Public School. He retired in September 2013. Overseer Farrior has served as a counselor, a mentor, a supervisor, a teacher and an advocator in the special needs field for forty-seven years. He spends most of his time serving as a humanitarian for mankind. For this reason two institutions in Gardnersville, Monrovia, Liberia, Western Africa were named in his honor - the Evan B Farrior Orphanage Home and the Evan B Farrior Academy.
1. To share the good news locally and internationally by reaching out to souls that is lost. To make them disciples and empowered them to serve their communities with the love of Jesus.
2. To witness to the power and saving grace of God as reveal in Jesus Christ. As Christian we are to witness by our word, work and way of life. And not be ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth.
3. To strengthen and encourage the faith of Christian men, women, boys and girls in this society. The need for encouraging people beneath the pressures of these time. Christian men and women are running low on spiritual energy and need to receive a spiritual refueling.
4. To bring others to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. As Christians we are to share with others our faith and acceptance of Jesus Christ, and tell them what a blessing to live the Christian life in today society.
