What We Believe

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings. We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that the lost and sinful man must be saved, and that man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We believe in and practice the holy ordinance of water baptism, which signifies the believer's death, burial, and resurrection into new life with Christ Jesus, and the regular celebration of Holy Communion as commanded by our Lord.

We believe in the present ministry and baptism of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; those that are saved into the resurrection of life and those that are unsaved into the resurrection of damnation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

About Our Minister

I have been a minister now since 2003.  I performed my first wedding in April of that year, the happy couple just happened to be my youngest son and his fiancé.  Since they have been together they have blessed us with a beautiful granddaughter.  I have since performed 20 weddings. While I was in the Navy it was difficult to be able to conduct weddings as I was always being deployed.  I retired from the Navy in 2009 and got more involved in my photography business.  In the last few years I have been able to come back to performing weddings and it has filled a missing part of my life.  I try to help my service brothers and sisters and offer a military discount.  My usual charge is 100.00 unless I have been asked to do something special as in one case where the happy couple wanted a Star Wars wedding and wanted me to dress up as Obi Wan Kenobi.  I try to stay within a 25 mile radius of my residence and anything over that is .75 a mile.  I can help you with writing your vows if needed.  My first contact is usually by Phone or email but I do like to meet with the couple prior to the ceremony. By meeting with you I can get a feel for what you are looking for in the way of ceremony and then write the script accordingly.  I try to give you exactly what you want. I have officiated a Sand Ceremony, and a Hand Washing Ceremony(this is different than a Hand Fasting Ceremony).
