ABOUT US: IMPACT HARVEST OUTREACH MINISTRIES was founded in 2004 as an
evangelical Bible-believing ministry with charismatic distinctive as a Missions
agency. The Ministry does seek to excel at meetings people's critical physical
and spiritual needs. We work in difficult often-Volatile places by faith to
convert people to Jesus Christ and draw people to Him as Lord and Savior and
teach them to live in faith, hope and obedience to God. Majority of our members
are 'faithful' from humble backgrounds of the suburbs of Eldoret town and remote
areas nearby.
LOCATION: The Ministry's headquarters is located in a suburb area, Kahoya -
Roadblock Estate in Eldoret Town.
VISION: By all means possible: to spread the word of God and message of Cross
and salvation by grace of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, To bring people to
Jesus Christ through evangelism and membership in his church family, develop
them to Christ like maturity through basic Biblical teachings, equip them for
their ministry in the church by service and life mission in the world, in order
to magnify God's name.
MISSION STATEMENT: We inspire and serve our local and global community in
spiritual evolution, support individuals in their personal growth and spiritual
transformation.
PURPOSE: The Ministry was established for the purpose of proclaiming repentance
from sin and teaches God's word in preparation for the soon return of Jesus.
CORE VALUES: -God Glorified in Worship -Commitment to God's Word and Verse
-Verse Expository Teaching -Mission and Evangelism -Family Oriented Ministry to
all Age Groups -The Exchanged Life -Equipping the Saints for the Work of Service
-Serving One Another in Love -Qualified Biblical Leadership -Devoted to Prayer
IMPACT HARVEST OUTREACH MINISTRIES places special emphasis on Baptism because it
brings new believers into the church (1 Corinthians 12:13) and defines their
relationship to the church
MINISTRY ACCOMPLISHMENTS: This Ministry has managed to set up the following:
1. Church: The Ministry has a Church which meets every Sunday and any other
specific day of the week. The Churches under the Ministry are called LIFE IMPACT
CENTER.
2. Bible Institute: The Ministry has also set up a Training center called KING'S
VICTORY BIBLE INSTITUTE, This Training Centre is one year old, and the first
graduates will be graduating come March 2009.
3. Faith Based Organization: The Ministry has also established a Faith based
Organization to deal with the entire needs of the Community. The organization by
the name of IMPACT A LIFE INITIATIVE have been working closely to help the
entire needs of the following; Youths, Orphans, Domestically Violated, Widows
and the Less fortuned in the Family/ Community. During the Post- Election
Violence, This initiative helped to distribute clothes, Food and Beddings which
were locally gathered. The initiative is also helping five students in our Bible
School, and is planning to do more in 2009, by supporting over ten people in the
secular colleges within town. The major challenge is finances.
4. Primary School: The Ministry was offered an ongoing primary school, with over
fifty (50) students from Baby Class to Class eight. The School has now over
ninety (90) students with most of them either partial or total orphans. Our
initiative has been supporting the children though willing families who have
been taking the children as part of their families.
ABOUT OUR PASTOR: Pastor Thomas is a man of God. He is the Director and the
senior Pastor of IMPACT HARVEST OUTREACH MINISTRIES. He began Ministering at the
age of 19 years as a Senior Usher, under Redeemed Gospel Church Matunda and
Eldoret Respectively until the year 2002. He then went to Bible School in
Bungoma, and in December 2003, The College gave him one of their sister church,
where he became a senior Pastor. Since then Pastor Thomas has served God in
different denominations under different capacities until November 2007, when he
decided to turn God's Vision into action. He then decided to open a church under
the Interdenominational Ministry which he had. Thomas is a dedicated Minister
with a servant's heart. He is married to Hellen Atyang' who has been a great
inspiration to him in the Ministry. God has blessed them with a baby boy who is
almost 2 year and six months old, and loves the Lord dearly. Thomas has been
striving to be the best Minister to his people. He has done Advanced Diploma in
Biblical Studies, Bachelors Degree in Bible Theology and is currently doing his
Masters Degree in Religious Studies.
MINISTRY NEEDS: We believe that if God can supply the following items, our
impact in the society can be ten times effective.
1. LITERATURE & TRACTS: ( Bibles, Books, commentaries, teachings as well as
music video and audiotapes, CDs, VCDs, DVDs, Magazines, dictionaries, Reference
study bibles and tracts)
2. Three (3) Motorbikes for evangelism and quick transportation within the area.
3. Church/ Outreach Instruments: Drum set, Keyboard, trumpets, Power Amp/Mixer,
Microphones, speakers.
4. Ministry Van for the Missions and the Initiative, Used Computers or laptops
for office and trainings.
5. Used clothing, blankets, sheets, bed covers and shoes for our IMPACT A LIFE
INITIATIVE.
STATEMENT REGARDING GIFTS:
We, at IMPACT HARVEST OUTREACH MINISTRIES in Partnership live solely by faith.
We are obedient to God's calling and work with a full time outreach. We do not
solicit for funds, nor do we charge for the services or work of the ministry.
We welcome partners, sponsors and donors for this Kingdom expansion work;
however we will not ask visitors to this site for money now or ever.
However if the Lord speaks to your heart to send any gifts or love offerings,
that would be graciously accepted and very much appreciated. All gifts are used
solely for the Ministry and where practical as directed by the donor. No amount
is too small:

We would like to involve whoever is willing to support us in the Ministry. Benard Okwara. LATEST NEWS/UPDATES FROM THE MINISTRY'S HEAD OFFICE. Dear Brethren, We would like to inform you of the projects that will take place in the year, and do request you to pray, counsel, support and stand with us. 1. The Ministry plans to hold an official Launch of the Ministry between April and May for one week. DATES ARE BETWEEN 27TH APRIL TO 3RD OF MAY. The activities shall be as follows: (a)There shall be a Mega Crusade called " ELDORET FIRE IMPACT CRUSADE" From 3:00 p.m to 6:30 p.m daily for one week. (b) There shall be also a leader's seminar on the Saturday of that week, from 10:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. (c) There shall be a door to door evangelism from 10:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m from Monday to Friday that week. GUEST WILL BE CONFIRMED AFTER THEY HAVE CONFIRMED THEIR PARTICIPATION. 2. Our Pastor, Rev. Thomas Opiyo will be flying to Philippines for a thirty five days Mission in the city of Cebu as from 27th May up to June, where he will be Ministering to youths, ladies, men's meetings as well as holding grand leaders meetings. Please he is in need of THE AIR TICKET AND ANY GIFT THAT WILL BE A BLESSING TO THE CEBU CITIZENS IN PHILIPPINES. We do request you to pray for all these, and please do support us, to fulfill the great commission. The Ministry is also raising Funds to enable us Buy, a land for the Church, build the church, Bible College and offices, Buy Instruments and seats.
