Bharatiya Suwarta Mission is a charitable trust, established with the sole intention of publishing THE THOMPSON CHAIN-REFERENCE STUDY BIBLE IN MARATHI LANGUAGE. The Thompson Chain-Reference Bible, King James Version, Copyright...1982 by The B.B.Kirkbride Bible Company, Inc. A formal permission is sought from and granted to, from Mr. David Gage, President, B.B.Kirkbride Bible Company, Inc., The Bharatiya Suwarta Mission in India upon request, to print the translation of the 5Th Improved Edition of the King James Version of The Thompson Chain-Reference Study Bible in Marathi Language. Marathi is the native language of the State of Maharashtra, which happens to be the 3rd largest State in India, with a Christian population ranging between 1.1 - 1.6%. The chief reason for this low percentage of Christian population is scarce availability of expository literature of the Holy Scripture in the native language which is Marathi. My father, M. S. Mantode, now nearing 87 years of age, invested 25 years of his later years in translating the English Bible in to Marathi our mother-tongue. God faithfully honored his task and prepared the heart of Rev. Susai Joseph, of New Life Fellowship to sponsor the publication of 10,000 copies of this Bible. Thompson Chain-Reference Study Bible

India is a great country having been mentioned in the Holy Bible as being in existence as early as mentioned in the Book of Esther. With 33 million gods to worship, there doesn't seem to be a place for "AN
ALTAR FOR AN UNKNOWN GOD". But these gods can't come to the rescue of distressed mankind overwhelmed with the unbearable loathsome guilt of SIN. This makes it very essential to share the GOOD NEWS of JESUS
