Bishop Joseph Makwakwa graduated from the university of Limpopo with a B.A.degree in Sociology and Public Administration.He and his wife are also graduates from Haggai Institute(Singapore),Bethel Christian College(USA).They hold two honorary doctorates in Divinity and Humaninities from two American Theological Seminaries.He was consecrated to the sacred office of a Bishop by Bishop Wayne T.Jackson from Detroit,Michigan,USA at Giyani on the 13th October 1999 before more than 4000 people.He is the founder and the Presiding Bishop of Agape Christian Churches,Agape Family of Christian Churches,Agape Eagles Cathedral, and the Eagles Network of Christian Churches.Dr Makwakwa is an author of five christian books,a scholar,a leadership consultant,a marriage counselor and a dynamic preacher who is in great demand in churches,conferences.He has travelled extensively all over Africa,USA,Europe and the East on Christian missions.He is widely regarded as a pastor of pastors.
