Adopt a Pastor Adopt-A-Pastor is a project designed for the training and equipping of pastors in the predominantly Muslim communities in African countries. Purpose of Adopt-A-Pastor Project To train indigenous pastors from the predominately Muslin ethnic groups. To equip spiritual leaders and provide ministry tools for them, such as study bibles, concordance, and other teaching materials. To help inspire ministers to increase their leadership potential. To expose ministers to the real qualities of leadership that God seeks after. To inspire ministers to cultivate their strengths and to discover and correct weakness. To focus our evangelistic efforts toward the evangelization of the Muslim. To encourage the pastors to stay active on the battle field in spite of the opposition from the Islamic community. CHURCH PLANTING Our Vision for Church Planting? Plant 50 churches in 50 African countries. Why Plant a Church? God Commands it... Matthew 28:19 In May of 2001, God specifically told us to plant 50 churches in 50 African countries. In obedience to God's command, we are stepping out by faith. The Need is Great The continent of Africa is where we have been experiencing the biggest harvest of souls. Churches are needed to disciple the new converts. Increase the Potential to Reach More People It is God's will that none should perish. Renewed Zeal for Outreach The need to reach the lost souls becomes stronger when a new church is planted. Raising More Leaders This project will afford ordinary people who are not pastors the opportunity to plant churches. Room for Church Growth When a church is planted, that church also has the potentials to grow & reproduce. Plans for Church-Planting? Send a trained pastor to each country. Pay the pastor's monthly salary. Pay the rent or lease of the place of worship. Train national pastors for further church-planting in each country. Occasionally visit for crusades, revivals, seminars & conferences as God enables us. Appoint coordinators for the four regions of Africa. Set up an administrative team in the USA and Africa. Cost of Planting One Church? It will cost four hundred dollars ($400.00) monthly to plant a church in Africa. With $400.00 we can: Pay the pastor's monthly salary Pay the monthly rent or lease of the place of worship. All the pastor has to do is to minister the love of Jesus and not to worry about where his next meal will come from. Who Can Sponsor a Church? Individuals Families Churches Businesses Options for Sponsoring? If you can not personally adopt a church, we can pair you with other donors to sponsor or adopt a church. Our Commitment to Sponsors?
