International Bible & Mission Seminary is a residential and Non-traditional Seminary which embraces the concept of Independent Study Program (ISP), acceleration & fast track curriculums, ladderized scheme and life-experience credit . It credits 2 years of ministerial experience in the Bachelor's program; criterias including college-level education , spiritual maturity and the type of in-service training seminars that the pastor or Christian worker attended over the years. these are evaluated so that a respective level in Bachelor/Masteral degree course is assigned to the new student. The new M.A. & M.Div. Curriculum: to make your Master of Divinity studies more competitive, we have integrated counseling, psychology & pneumapsychology (pastoral psychotherapy) courses into the biblical studies curriculum. upon graduation, aside from earning a Master of Divinity , IBMS will also certify the graduate as a "Certified Pastoral Psychotherapist (CPP)with automatic membership in the Pneumapsychological Society for Pastoral Psychotherapist (Philippines)c/o IBMS . On the minimum, the academic requirement is M.A./M.Div. degrees for members plus some psychotherapy training. This credential is necessary for a minister to set up a professional counseling office/center/clinic with honorarium charges subject to his country's regulation. IBMS Doctoral studies follow a standard 3 years curriculum of biblical, theological and pastoral psychotherapy courses including the dissertation. Due to fast track scheme can be completed within 1 & 1/2 yrs (especially the D.Min.).
