MINISTRY BRIEF HISTORY

1TIMOTHY 6.12 Says,Fight the good fight for the faith; take hold of the eternal life,to which you were called and have made a good confession before many witnesses. The Good Life Ministry was founded in the year 2004 with the vision to reach the lost souls with the word of God which is able to change into the living images of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Bernard Abwajo as the Leader and his wife Susan Abwajo together with Maurice Odhiambo, Paul Odera and George Onyango are the founders of The Good Life Ministry. It was started as a small Bible Club with a membership of 12 fully committed Christians.

Up to the end of 2004 the Lord has raised our membership numbers to 215 people: "Praise God". After much prayer and through divine revelation, God made it clear for us that we should start doing something for Him beyond Bible study meetings. As a result we decided to expand our vision by starting to involve ourselves in open air meetings, outreaches, Revival meetings, Visiting and Praying to the Prisoners while at the same time caring and supporting AIDS orphans. Romans 9.25 says, and as he says in hosea: "I will call them 'my people' who are not my people; and I will call her 'my loved one' who is not my loved one," The book of Job 29.13;says, the blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy.

Many have been blessed so far through our caring and loving Ministry while their needs keep expanding. We pray and appeal to all faithful individuals, Christians, Churches, Ministries and Organizations who desire to share this wonderful burden of reaching out to the lost and needy people with the love of our Lord Jesus Christ, to come forth and share in this happy service to Our Lord and to our brothers and sisters. THE STATEMENT OF FAITH FOR THE GOOD LIFE MINISTRIES-KENYA.

We believe in the 66 books of the Bible e.g. the Old Tesaments and the New Testament is the Word of God. The Bible is therefore our supreme and final authority in all matters that it addresses.

We believe that the physical universe, the realms of nature is the visible creation of God. It declares God's existence and gives a trustworthy revelation of God's character and purpose.

We believe in the one infinitely perffect,etenal and personal God, the transcendent Creator and sovereign Sustainer of the unierse. Thsi one God is existing etenally and simultaneously as three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

MINISTRY VISION BEARER PROFILE

Bernard Otuoma is a born again Christian with ambition to reach the lost sheep with Christ. Bernard met Jesus Christ and accepted salvation of our Lord in the year 1995 during a door to door witness when the servants of God visited him and shared about the amazing love of Jesus Christ. Bernard considers the incident as God's doing and believes that God sent that person to him because God he needed to show him His Everlasting Glory. It is Bernard's desire that the peace he feels in his heart should be felt by all.Before, Bernard was a person who was in and out of the hospital every month. He did not know that it was just the calling of God which was doing this to him.Since he was saved and accept Jesus Christ in his heart he has ever never sleep in bed being sick. Bernard is married to Susan Otuoma who is also saved in the year 1997 and together they have been blessed with three kids, two boys and one daughter. Kelvin born 1998, Samson born 1999 and Valerine born May,2004. Bernard, born in 1973 and is the first born in a family of six children. His mother is a widow. Three of his mother's siblings are in Primary school. Two of his brothers are over school age and jobless. This makes him the sole bread winner of his immediate family. Hai this is me Bernard, Let me and you help God's people. For all this you have read from a servant of God,May grace and peace from God the father of Jesus Christ who died to take away our sins with Him so that we be what God intended for us with you all, and salute for us all the friends and brothers in the Lord there.
