OUR VALUES In all our dealings with individuals and organisations we value Transparency Divine reverence Morality Integrity OUR MOTTO Give A Bible-Give A Life We believe that the Bible is a manual of life and has all the solutions to our problems and every Christian should have one. By giving Bibles we are not just giving books but life itself. INTENDED BENEFICIARIES Bible Colleges Churches Individuals Non Governmental Organisations Private Firms Schools OUR OBJECTIVES To freely provide Bibles, Bible Software, Bible lessons, Christian books, magazines and tracts to Bible Colleges, churches and individuals and other interested parties. To provide a website where people can find links to other organizations that offer free Christian resources. To establish a Christian Resource Centre. This will comprise of a library, a reading room and a computer laboratory for studying the Bible online and carrying out online correspondence courses. FUTURE PLANS To open up Christian Libraries where people can check out books, cds and tapes To open Radio and Television Christian broadcasting stations. To open up branches all over Africa in order to cater for the whole of Africa. To diversify into Christian literature publishing. JUSTIFICATION FOR THE FORMATION OF GIVE A BIBLE TRUST Most Christians do not have Bibles simply because they cannot afford them and this calls for the need of an organisation that can provide the Bibles. In the First world countries like UK, USA and Canada where the majority can afford Bibles, there are numerous organizations which offer free Bibles whereas in Africa there are no such organizations or if they are there, they are inactive or operate on a low scale. There are organisations that provide free Bibles and Christian literature listed on the Internet but the majority of people who need the Bibles and Christian literature do not have access to the Internet and this calls for better ways of making these Bible more accessible to the intended beneficiaries. The harsh economic conditions in Zimbabwe are increasingly making owning a Bible a luxury rather than a necessity. Over 90% of all Christian literature is sold at exorbitant Prices beyond the reach of many. Over 80% of the literature that Christians read is non-Christian simply because that is what is available on the market and there is need to fill this gap. The majority of the modern Christian are Sunday Christians, that is they only pray and read the Bible on Sunday yet Christianity is a lifestyle and so ought to be practiced everyday and not only on Sundays. This calls for a more effective way of encouraging Christians to study the Bible daily. Give A Bible Trust seeks to distribute Bible reading planners. These will allow the user to go through the whole Bible in a year. There is something terribly wrong if a Christian reads the whole newspaper everyday and yet fails to read the Bible or Christian literature even once in a week. The country of Zimbabwe does not have even a single Christian Library. Bible Trivia Your Name All About Your Birthday Questions Answered How do you balance? Am I going to Heaven?
