MISSION STATEMENT

Feed the Nation was instituted on July 22,2000 with one goal that is to do the work of evangelism. We are involved of telling others the gospel of salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. These are done through mass crusades, house to house evangelism, bible studies, hospital evangelism, feeding programs and extends medical assistance through the financial support of friends and partners of this and other ministries of like purpose.

This ministry also aims to create unity in the body of Christ. Unity comes when different denomination link together to reach the lost.

We also render training to those who are called and desire to do the work of an evangelist.

DECLARATION OF FAITH

FEED THE NATION, INC. is govern and staff by bible believing, born again Christians who uphold the fundamental doctrines of historic evangelical Christianity. The by-laws require that all the board members and officers subscribes without reservation to the doctrinal statement of the mission which includes the following:

We believe the bible to be given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, perfect, able to make man wise unto salvation, profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. (2 Peter 1:21,2 Timothy 3:15,16, Psalms 19:7)

We believe in One God manifested in three Persons. God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. They are co-existent, co-eternal, and co-equal. God the Father is the creator of Heaven and Earth and the sustainer of all things. God the Son Jesus came in the Flesh. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary and was without Sin. (Isaiah 45:21-22, 2 Corinthians 13:14)

We believe that Man was created in God's own image. God formed Man from the dust of the ground and breath into it the breath of Life. Through the sin of Adam, mankind has fallen from God and became sinful in nature. But God sent his Son Jesus to destroy the work of the Devil, gave his life and shed his blood on the Cross of Calvary to pay the penalty of Man's sin which is death and restore man back to God. Salvation is a gift of God to man, not by works and observance of the Law can a man be saved. Repentance and the new birth experience are essential to Salvation (Romans 5:12, Genesis 1:27, Genesis 2:7, Romans 5:8, I John 3:8, Ephesians 2:8-9, Matthew 3:2,4:17, John 3:35). Man is justified by faith alone and accounted righteous before God only through the merit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that those who are justified are born anew and receive eternal life. But that those who have not been born again shall not see the kingdom of God (John 3:3).

We believe that in Water Baptism, a believer is immersed in water for a public testimony that He (his old nature) has died, been buried and the life he now lives, he lives for Christ. A believer is baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift from God promised to all believers, empowering the church (believers) to be his witness unto the ends of the earth. This experience is accompanied with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues as the Holy Spirit gives the utterance. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are the word of knowledge, the word of wisdom, the gift of faith, healing, the working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, speaking in unknown language, and the interpretation of unknown language. (Romans 6:4, Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:1-38)

We believe in the pre-millennial Second Coming to earth of our Lord Jesus Christ in power and great glory that He will change our corrupt bodies and fashion them like unto his glorious body. We believe in the resurrection of the dead, some to everlasting life and some to everlasting shame. We believe the personal and imminent coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
