Dear Friends,
For all the world's Children whose lives are filled with hunger .. and can't understand why, and for all beings who are dedicated to doing something about it.
It's Better to Build Children than repair to Men and Women..
Nirmala and Madhava are a lovely couple, who when they found out they could not have children of their own, decided to look after some children who are were some orphans and destitutes in their love, care and protection for their better life in the society. It was not long and they had 64 children to look after !.
It is a hard job to try and provide for the needs of a couple of children, let alone 64..
Nirmala and Madhava are dedicated to the victims of child labour, street children, the neglected and abandoned, the orphans and the poor who live below the poverty line, life in India is tough going. Most children cannot get an education because they have to work with their parents.
They are considered as economic value, and sending them to school would mean economic loss. Consequently they remain illiterate, and the poverty cycle continues. Child labour is very common..
The more children you have, the more work that can be done, but at the same time, more food has to be produced. When families can no longer provide for their children, the children wander looking for food. Many thousands of poor and needy children die every day. They are the victims of poverty and neglect.
Many who escape death carry with them the deep scars of hunger, sickness and abuse. The exploitation of women continues, despite the fact that they work from morning to night, in the fields, and at home, they are disregarded, any pay they may receive,is much less than what a man gets, little girls are kept from school to work and take care of younger children. The caste system in India is a crippler.
Money lenders are common, and they are big time exploiters, each one ruthlessly charging what they like, and using children as virtual slaves many children are left to the no mercy of landlords who work them to the bone, and rob any childhood from them. Parents struggle hard to survive, but it's made extra difficult by the fixing of low prices on the produce that comes from these already overworked poor farmers.
Unfortunately Nirmala and Madhava have had to resort to borrowing, to support the needs of all their children. Despite this they are willing to extend their borders to take in as many as poor children and to provide them with education in skills so they do not remain dependant, or become street people when they are grown up. The plan is to set up a self-sustainable unit, that includes the home and school.
This hands-on training unit will provide all necessary resources and income for the children's care, as well as teaching them to be self-supporting.
The proposed areas of training will include tailoring, embroidery, typing, motor winding, finding bore wells in fields, real electrification (providing electricity to rural areas) dairy and sheep rearing and carpentry and art and spirituality.
WHAT MAKES HAPPY CHILDREN? : Many children are being hampered today in their growing-up years by the neglect, confusion, abandonement to the streets, starvation, abuse, substance abuse, pressures, and such like that are being exerted upon them. Children should be given the chance to be children and to be happy, and grow up straight. Happy children are those who have loving, caring parents -both parents. A father and mother who care for their children, not spoiling but being devoted, contribute greatly to the happiness of their offspring..
In this world some countries like India are so overpopulated children take a back seat to the main problems. Many are tossed into very hard labor jobs. Many just die. We are trying to help a few of these children with the hopes our ministry can grow to reach thousands. With this work we have personaly taken in many children orphaned to the streets not knowing their fate. This ministry is reaching out to the world to help them... Will you help us through generous donations of food, clothes, medicines, and monies to help us care for those we have, and to reach more children lost because of the earthquakes, wars, and famine? Below you will find our email, and physical addresses so please help our children, and help us bring in many more for Jesus. God bless you!
Enjoy the photos where we are teaching them of Jesus. How they will be trained to help others when they get old enough. How we give them love, schooling, and much of what they could never get on the streets. Would you sponsor one child today from your heart? Would you find the compassion to bring clothes, food, education, or the badly needed medicines to a child still lost on the street? Nirmala and Madhava are humbly seeking any assistance you are able to give towards the proposed project and towards the daily care of these children. They have offered an idea that would help immensely sponsoring any one of the current 64 children.
Donation cheques can be sent addressed to Mrs. B. Nirmala Kumari if a child, you will become a special partner with that very appreciative child. You can write to them and you will receive their photo. This child then will be able to attend school obtain a school uniform and books, receive health care and extra food and become skilled for their future. *************************************************** A FRIEND IS A GIFT OF GOD. A friend is one of God's greatest blessings. But friends do not just happen.Solomon said, " A man that hath friends must show himself friendly; and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother." (proverbs 18:24). Please note this following:
I WENT OUT TO FIND A FRIEND, BUT COULD NOT FIND ONE THERE.I WENT OUT TO BE FRIEND AND FRIENDS WERE EVERYWHERE !.
In times of trouble friends can give encouragement and understanding. In times of temporal need they give assistance. In times of weakness they can give much strength. In times of joy they can rejoice with us. In times of sarrow they can give sympathy and comfort. And also they are one of the greatest motivating influences in helping us grow strong in the Lord. With a friend we can share the hidden thoughts of the heart. We can share joys and sorrows, happiness and despair, laugh and shed tears with out being ashamed. Solomon said, " A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity." (proverbs17;17). A friend is a friend even when we are in adverse circumstances or in trouble or in sickness. friendship does not depend upon our material situation, possessions or circumstances. Friendship knows no barriers of race, religion or social position. When our friends have need of us- our time, our possessions-we will be thankful for the opportunity to serve, to share, to be a part of the solution, to be a concerned listener, no matter what the need may be, nor how untimely it may be for us..
Our ministry is taking in children that would otherwise die in the streets to help them find Jesus, and peace. We feed, clothe, and comfort them all according to our directions from our Lord jesus Christ in Matt. 25. We want to help more, but need you to help make this work continue, and expand..
"The children we are taking care of that live with us.
"Children we have taken into our home, and how they learn about Jesus to become spiritual workers someday to help others like themselves in the future.
