Christian shelter & training for men

An intensive, Christ-centered, Bible-based, 12-month program for men leaving jail/prison. Living and working together, men learn to build the Kingdom of God here on earth by demonstrating God's love to one another and reaching out to help those less fortunate with positive work activities. All men are required to work, as they are able, every work day in Christian mininstries or select Christian businesses. A structured, no-nonsense environment is meant to keep men out of prison by helping them mature in their faith in Christ and also by addressing the root problems that caused them to stumble to begin with.

Mentoring and social obligations

All participants are trained and mentored in social skills and in the awareness that they represent the King of Kings as His ambassadors here on earth. Each man is assigned a mentor from the church he will be required to attend. Job training is made available as is high school or college education through various local resources so that men leaving the program have the skills needed to "make it" on the outside. Social barriers are addressed on an individual basis. Biblical money-management principles are taught, such as tithing, budgeting and giving into the lives of others less fortunate.
