THIS MINISTRY IS ORIENTED TOWARDS THE STUDENTS, THOSE WHO ARE STILL IN SCHOOL, COLLEGE OR IN ANY OTHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION. WE HAVE THREE DEDICATED STUDENT CHAPLAINS:MISS ANIE S. MATHAI, SUNI MATHEW AND MISS.SUJA DANIEL.
The leadership consists of Bishop Dr. Lukose (Spiritual Director) Dr. Rosemary Lukose ( Director of Education) Dr. Kerry Sharpe( Chancellor).Rev. Daniel Sharpe, VISITING CHAPLAIN TO INDIA. The three chaplains work under the supervision of these leaders. A ministry of past, present, and future. Missions: education,afterschool tuition,evaluation,financial support, correspondance course, character building, moral support, prayer support,a ministry of listening and caring etc. A SPECIAL DAY OF PRAYER. FEBRUARY 26, 2006 The chaplains in South Kerala Diocese(S.India) planned to conduct a DAY OF PRAYER at the Head quarters church in Enathu. Lay chaplain Saji and the Rev.Alexander Sam will lead the prayer section. March 15 ----30, students are urged to contact the chaplains for spiritual and emotional support. Chaplains will meet daily for prayer for their students. This Saturday students can receive counciling, moral and emotional support and encouragement from the trained chaplains. This section will separate time for prayer, words of encouragement, sharing of fear, anxiety, doubt, sleep disorder, rest, seeking professional help as such to thinking positive to over come the final exam and their future. Chaplains Anie and Suni report back to our office, saying this is a day we hope the students will anticipate and participate.
