As we begin to follow the gospel of Jesus Christ we see that one-third of Jesus ministry consisted of deliverance. We can see in the book of Job that God places a protective hedge around His children. We see this as Satan comes before the throne of God to accuse Job. God says to Satan, "Have you considered my servent Job"? Satan replies, "How can I, You have placed a hedge around him and all that he owns". We however by our own will can open doorways in this hedge that allows the demonic realm to have access to our lives. We see an example when God warns Cain of this before he kills his brother Abel. (Gen 4:7) God says to Cain, "If you do well will you not be accepted? But if you do not then sin is waiting at the door(doorway in protective hedge) and it desires to have you. But you must master it". Cain did not take heed to Gods warning and because of anger, hatred, bitterness, jealousy, ect. Cain opened a doorway in the hedge that allowed a spirit of murder to come into him, thus killing his brother Abel.
Deliverance comes only by knowing the truth. Jesus said you will know the truth and the truth will make you free. God said My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Deliverance begins by finding areas in our lives that we have opened doorways in Gods protective hedge. There are many ways of doing this. Simply it is rebellion and disobediance against Gods word. We can open doorways by simply harboring anger, bitterness, jealousy, unforgivness, ect. Also through witchcraft such as Quija boards, dungeons and dragons, occult practises, false religions, tarot cards, palm reading, astrology, satanism, ect. Abuse is another area that opens doorways, such as physical, mential ,emotional and sexual abuse, molestation and rape. There are other things as well but space does not allow the listing of them all. If you feel as if you are not the one in control of your life. If you feel you are being controlled by an unseen force. Then deliverance may be for you. Please feel free to contact us and let us work together for freedom in Christ
