Deliverance and Healing
Dynamis Ministries is an outreach apostolic and prophetic minstry to the protestant church community of The Charismatic Orthodox Church- Northern Diocese, Bishop+ Dr. Gary Swanson. The mission of this ministry is to set the captives free and bring divine healing, deliverance from demonic intrusions, and proclaim the "Good News" of Christ Jesus through the demonstration of God's power or "dynamis". Power Evangelism and true prophetic ministry is offered to transform individuals and churches to become what God called them to be. The American church is in dire need of restoration to become a warring Bride readying Herself for the return of the Bridegroom. There are two kingdoms at conflict; the Kingdom of God and that of the enemy (satan). The focus of Dynamis Ministries is to publically bring the enemy to the forefront and crush him under our feet. The Bible clearly shows us that signs, wonders, and demonstrations of God's power through the Holy Spirit follow the believer. We do not have to chase after God if we will learn to practice His presence by seeking Him with repentance and faith. Jesus taught the Kingdom of God is within us. Dynimus Ministries seeks to see the present day church follow the example of the early church in an effort to become the revolutionaries Jesus Christ called us to be. Transformation can only happen when we realize that the revival many churches seek and need begins within each of us who believe as the power of the Holy Spirit is released to bring healing, deliverance and discipleship. Dynamis Ministries is not about putting "bandaids" on hurting people and churches, but is called by the Holy Spirit to bring the full demonstration of God's power and to teach people how to retain the healing, deliverance and salvation they receive. A true sense of the "community of believers" as the church and witnessing that God operates through the Body of Christ as He did in the early church as recorded in the Book of the Acts of the Apostles is possible to those who are seeking God's presence through prayer and being in one accord. Faith is the key to this healing and deliverance ministry offering a proven apostolic and prophetic mantle and anointing to those seeking true revival, not church as usual.
Ministry Opportunities
Dr. Swanson is also the Chancellor of Living Hope Theological Seminary and has practiced pastoral care/counseling for his entire ministry in addition to the preaching/teaching minstry with accompanying demonstrations of the power of the Holy Spirit. He has successfully developed and implemented pastoral care programs for homeless shelters, children's homes, and transitional living facilities specializing in areas of marriage and family, Christian recovery for victims of abuse, drug/alcohol dependency and abuse, and grief recovery from losses and resulting traumas which lead to major disruptions for many people bringing desolation instead of the consolation found through personal transformation through a personal and intimate knowledge of God. Church restoration and planting sucessful churches have been an extensive portion of this apostolic ministry. Churches often go through times of stagnation or fragmentaion and can be revitalized to become effective "cities of refuge" for the hurting and often ignored people of our culture who are those Christ said to invite to the feast. Dynamis Ministies offers a variety of formats to churches seeking true renewal and transformation. Crusades,workshops,seminars,and retreats may be conducted within the specific needs and desires of the local church and/or community of churches. Equipping and training sessions are available in conjunction with crusades or may be arranged on an individual basis. Details are worked out as the Holy Spirit directs.
