Returning to the Scriptures for guidance.
We desire to go back to the Bible and follow the teachings of Jesus and His inspired apostles. Traditions over the past have taken us away from the simple teachings of Christ. When we were obedient to His word He added us to His body. The grouping together (as we name ourselves different denominational names) of those in the kingdom has separated God's children. This is not His plan. We seek the truths of the New Testament, wanting to throw away all tradition that is not taught by inspiration. Giving back to the individual his responsibility
Because of following traditions of men we have the clergy/laity system in place today. Each Christian is a priest before God and is individually responsible for his beliefs and actions. Tradition has taken that away from the individual and placed it with mere men who have taken authority God never gave them Join our purpose of getting back the freedom in Christ He intended we have.
