THE VISION
The Vision We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is building His "church" and extending the influence of His "Kingdom" through a PRIESTHOOD OF BELIVERS in our local churches! (1 Peter 2:5, 9-10 & Rev. 1:6) We believe that this "priesthood of believers" are spiritually anointed unto ministry and all "good works"! (Acts. 1:8, 2:38, Jh.14:26, 1Jh. 2:27 & Eph. 2:8,9-10) We believe that these believers that are anointed are EQUIPPED by the Ministry team of "specially gifted men & women"! (Eph.4: 11-13) We believe that this "Ministry team" is under the local-Church government of Elders; who are all men! (Acts.20:28, 1 Tim.3:1ff & TIT.1:6-7) We believe in the authority & discipleship calling for all believers! (Matt.28:18-20) We believe the "body of believers" must be encouraged by the Ministry team (5 fold ministers) & the Elders in each local church to freely exercise spiritual authority in the demonstration of the "Gifts" both spiritual and serving! (1 Cor. 14:23,26 & 31, Acts.2:44-45 & 4:34-35) We believe that such a practice theologically and practically lived-out in a Sinhala cum Tamil joint worshipful church is one of the solutions that will show our nation the way forward in the "peace process" that all communities desire so avidly! We believe that as an organization, "HIS Ministries" has been called to encourage such local churches in the North, North-East, East, Central & Upcountry regions that already have joint Tamil-Sinhala ministries! We believe that God through His son Jesus Christ will enable us in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit to spiritually and materially uplift these servants of God and their congregations to be "holy" examples of true non-materialistic righteous Christian disciples in great anticipation of His "soon" return! We believe that the teachings we give, the sincere fellowship we offer, the fasting & prayers that are made and where-ever possible the material assistance we readily share will be replicated from one to another; within churches and across historical racial divides!
THE PLAN
We shall seek out remote independent local churches that already have joint Tamil cum Sinhala joint worshipful services. We shall help anointed persons who are "called" to establish such Tamil cum Sinhala churches in un-reached areas. We shall offer teaching, preaching & healing ministries to such local churches. We shall encourage them to form regional fellowship groups of ministry leaders.
