Hi, my name is Kevin Wilkerson and I am the senior director
of Diversified Ministries in Grand Junction Colorado.
I attended Longview Baptist College in Longview Texas in 1980 and 1981
and then transferred to World School of Evangelism in Baton Rouge
Louisiana. I have a bachelor degree in business administration and a
doctorate in theology. I met Denise Sills while attending Bible college,
and we were married in 1983. We now have three children; Rebecca, Rachel,
and Jonathon. Our Family Album
The dream of this ministry began to burn in my soul almost fifteen
years ago. As being raised in the home of a Bible belt pastor, I saw
things that many do not see from the local congregations. Through the
years, I have seen perfectly good homes and lives ruined by the work of
Satan. I have seen homes riddled by the use of alcohol and drugs along
with pornography. Many of these homes seemed from the outside to be deeply
spiritual homes, but the shock was soon to come. This ministry is geared
to rebuild the home, as well as individual lives.
My wife and I first went into the ministry in 1985 as associate and
youth pastors of Charity Baptist Church in Bastrop Louisiana. From there,
we were called to the pastorate of Agape Fellowship in Hugh Springs Texas.
My family moved to Colorado in 1994 in a venture to begin a prison and
jail ministry. I have always had a special place in my heart for this type
of ministry. Since then, we have extended our ministry arms to people with
addiction and obsession problems, along with abused women and children. We
feel that the home is the primary vehicle that God uses in this day and
age to carry the Gospel of Christ. The home is a Divinely appointed
institution, and we should do as much as possible to preserve that
institution.
If you and your family are in the area, we would love to have you join
us for worship. The ministry phone number is 970-257-0028.
Sincerely in Christ,
Willis K. Wilkerson D.D.
