"A Better Way Ministry" is a program that is designed to make a difference in the lives of women who are plagued with addictions, or other life altering problems. Our goal is to share with them that Jesus is the answer to all their problems, regardless of how bad they seem. Our target population is, but not limited to, pregnant women and mothers of young children. Our plan is to build a place where moms can come and bring their children with them, so we can offer help, hope, and healing to the whole family through the love and encouragement of Christian education and environment.

Jail Ministry

We currently are ministering to women who are incarcerated, since we presently do not have a place of our own. We have been working in this area for two years. We hold 2 groups per week for 2 hours each. Of the women who have completed the program, only two have ever returned to jail. Most are now living very productive lives, and most have regained custody of their children. All have accepted Christ as their Lord and Saviour. This group costs about $20 per woman, to pay for their workbook "Breaking Family Addictions" by Katherine Degenhardt, and writing supplies. We receive no pay for doing the groups. If you would be willing to sponsor a woman by sending $20, it would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to know more about our program, feel free to contact us and request our newsletter. "In as much as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me."
